Junior Fashion Design Academy
Is your child a young fashion designer in the making?
Junior Fashion Design Academy is the perfect program for students with an in-depth interest in design who would REALLY like to make fashion their future!
Students will build their skills and learn advanced fashion-making methods, while creating their own portfolios for future fashion endeavors. Here your child will be trained to think and see the world like it is seen by the design houses they adore.
The comprehensive curriculum was built by a team of professors from renowned colleges in NYC and fashion design professionals — so students gain a modern and trend-setting understanding of the fashion industry.
In this 8-week course, students will:
Learn fashion concepting & advanced pattern making
Build a fashion design portfolio for college applications
Participate in a final fashion show to showcase their designs
Collaborate with working fashion professionals with 20+ years of industry experience
Course duration: 8 weeks, 16 sessions, 48 hours
Requirements: At least 12 years old. We also ask that students have already taken basic fashion illustration and pattern making classes.

Fashion Design Incubator Program
The Fashion Incubator Program includes Elements of Fashion Design in combination with Fashion Illustration that will provide students with the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge they will need to successfully relate to the design process.
Students will learn where and how to look for inspiration to create a collection, as well as how to illustrate that collection.
Fashion Stylist Incubator
This is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to study with an editorial stylist, Newheart Ohanian. If you put all of your efforts into this program, you could end up with an internship in the fashion industry as an assistant with a fashion editor/stylist.
This course is for someone who wants to work in styling for fashion editors or celebrities. Have a look behind the scenes of glitz and glory and hold your breath, the learning has just begun!
Our instructors are professional stylists, makeup and hair artists. We will be visiting studios and showrooms in NYC for the on-ground classes. The online workshop portion will offer guided projects with an extended time period, so students can complete the project on their schedules.
We’ll also be working on developing a professional portfolio to support your future efforts in starting your own stylist practice.
